STARTING RIGHT

It was Thursday night, I was engaged in a reading for tomorrow's class when suddenly a thought to start my own fashion blog came to mind. I have always had this huge interest in fashion since forever. I could spend hours inside my head mixing colours, patterns, textures. I began observing, designing, and sketching outfits since I don't know when. But of course, putting those outfits into realisation was a whole new exploration that would require me to go out of my comfort zone. I spent a long time planning how my future imaginary fashion blog should be, but I spent even more time reasoning why I should start one.

I guess you could say that the launch of this blog means I have found that sole reason. It all started when I recalled a memory where my dad voluntarily opted to act as a fashion-police for a reluctant 9-year-old me. I remember crying out of my annoyance of Dad's picking-out-the-right-cloth habit cause he made me change my outfit for so many times before settling with the perfect one. But as I grew older, that habit of his initially became mine. I no longer fight him over an outfit, because now I voluntarily picked his outfit whenever I come home.

It turned out to be more than just a habit, it is now one of my passions. There's so much to learn though, learning to fall in love with fashion itself is just a start. I decided to start the blog, not simply because I want the world to know how much I love fashion, but because I know I will learn a lot of things along the way, so I hope I start this journey right.
