It's technically almost Summer yet the weather tends to get cold at night, so I usually have a cardigan with me

Kamila Dear

It literally took me minutes before I could stop laughing to do a serious pose

I like being busy, and I was really busy for the past two semesters. But several things happened and I found myself having a lot more free time. Of course it means more time to focus on school works, but the other day Tina told me that she thought God wants me to rest. Sooo, nowadays I've been working to slow down and learn to enjoy some routines I'd been neglecting. One of them is reading. Last Friday I received some books my university library purchased for me and I found myself reading one of them in one sitting. Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City is a graphic novel by Guy Delisle. I first read a comic about his stay in Pyongyang, North Korea. I was studying about North Korea at that time, and reading his comic that is written from a foreigner point of view was mind opening because he presents situations there in such an ironical way you cannot help but to ponder about certain topics as you read through the comic. And ever since that first encounter I have been adding more graphic novels into my reading list. I get so much from reading them (becoming a better visual thinker is one of them), I can't help but to recommend you to start reading graphic novels, especially Delisle's works!
