What do think about the word "growth"? And how do you think this word applies to humans?

S: "I think growth has something to do with change. Change is indisputable. Every living being designed, from flowers to animals, change. The only condition that allows a living being to stay the same is death. Human too, like other organism, isn't prone to change. Physically human changes, they grow from babies to adults. Even if they wish to stay young, they grow old by each second.

C: "Yeah, Growth is such a dynamic word. One may think a tree is just a tree. A person just a person. A thing just a thing. But the plant that seems so green, the child that can speak, the man who thinks. All went through a process to get to where they are, as you see them now."

S: "However human's growth is different than other living being's. Cause to a certain degree, we possess control to our growths. "

S: "What I mean by control is this: We may be granted with chances to develop and surrounded with situations and people that can help us to grow, but the decision to break off the status quo, to get out from our comfort zone, to change, to grow, is in our hand."

C: "Exactly, we humans have been given this opportunity to change. To grow. To go through a process based on something much bigger than just us, ourselves."

*** This is part of one of a 2-part spontaneous collaborative project between Stella and Carol. Last year was a year of tremendous growth for both us, of which going back to the basic was proven to be crucial in order to move on to the next level of growth. Having bestowed the chance to walk the growth process together, we decided to close the year off by pouring months of discussions sharing, exchanging ideas, values, and beliefs into this collaboration. Although this project (pictures, writings) is our personal interpretation of their own growth stages, we would like to invite our viewers, (yes, you!) to personalise the project - by evaluating your own growth as you reflect on these growth-related questions yourselves.

Enjoy!
